The Northern Lakes Economic Symposium & Annual Showcase is a forum for community and business leaders committed to the economic vitality of our region. It is an opportunity to tackle complex challenges, make strategic connections, and celebrate the many successes of our communities and businesses in Northern Michigan.This year’s Symposium will focus on innovation—or the act of introducing new products, methods, and ways of thinking—to build on Northern Michigan’s economic success. Our region boasts a rich history of innovation. We’ve witnessed it across communities and across industries, from agriculture, to manufacturing, healthcare, outdoor recreation, and tourism. Fostering a culture of innovation is integral to vibrant businesses and communities. Innovation allows our businesses and communities to continue providing diverse opportunities and experiences for a highly sought-after workforce, and to continue thriving even in the face of significant shifts in the economic climate.
Symposium attendees will engage with local, state, and national experts who have fostered innovation through new practices and policies. Between the mainstage and breakout sessions, attendees will have the opportunity to examine innovation through global, community, industry cluster, and business lenses.
Cost: $90.00 Price will increase to $100 on May 4.
