To really know trees, you need to key into their bark, buds and twigs with a botanist in the field. We have all these! Join Dr. Danielle Zoellner, and naturalist Misty Klotz for an interactive learning experience that will sharpen your observation skills and teach you how to step through identification of our most common species of trees in Michigan. Don’t know the difference between a maple and a hickory? We’ve got you covered.
Come join us for a winter hike and learn to ID common Michigan trees! Informational material will be provided and warm beverages at the end of the hike! Dress for the weather!
Alternative Weather Date: Feb. 14, 2020 same time and place
