As the growing season comes to a close, the garden often requires tending to get it prepared for the next season. Fall garden clean-up involves several tasks but does not need to be a full time job. Learn about what tasks are essential, what are optional, and what is fiction. Participants will have the opportunity to share their requests for determining which are "fact or fiction" with the instructor in advance of the class.
Instructor: David Lowenstein, PhD is the Consumer Horticulture Educator for MSU Extension in Macomb County. He is an entomologist with interests in integrated pest management, plant diagnostics, and ornamental grasses.
Cost: $5, payable by credit card online
Refund policy: Allowed until Sep 21. No refunds after this date. However, you can transfer your registration to another individual.
Registration for Fact or Fiction: The Fall Garden Clean Up To Do List is open.
Registration closes at 11:59 p.m. ET on September 28, 2026.
There are 40 openings available.
