Michigan Youth Livestock Judging Camp 2026
June 16-17, 2026
MSU Campus, East Lansing
This overnight camp experience is for youth ages 12-19 (as of Jan. 1, 2026) who are interested in taking a deep dive into livestock judging and sharpening their judging skills! Co-hosted by Michigan 4-H and the MSU Collegiate Livestock Judging Team, this camp will take place on the campus of Michigan State University on June 16 and 17. Activities will include reasons training from MSU team members, numerous practice classes, one-on-one coaching in swine, small ruminants, and cattle, and a mock contest.
During the mock contest on Wednesday, coaches of county 4-H and FFA teams are welcome to join us for a coaches training session. Space is limited, and pre-registration is required.
