MSU Extension Master Gardener Training Course Scholarship Application
The MSU Extension Master Gardener Program provides financial assistance to help offset enrollment costs for a limited number of individuals interested in completing the MSU Extension Master Gardener certification. Scholarship amounts can vary from $50 to $150 and depend upon various site and class factors, such as number of individuals requesting scholarships and scholarship funds available. There are no full scholarships awarded. Scholarships will be awarded based on an applicant’s interest in the MSU Extension Master Gardener Program, their financial need, and their commitment to attending classes and volunteering to fulfill the Extension Master Gardener certification requirements.

To ensure your space is held while a decision is made regarding your scholarship application, please be sure to also complete the separate training course registration which includes the Volunteer Selection Process. If you supply an e-mail address, a receipt for your application will automatically be sent to that account. An e-mail address is required to pay using a credit card.
To receive certification as an MSUE Master Gardener you must complete 40 hours of volunteer outreach work.
