Join MSU Extension Educators to learn more about starting a school or community garden. We encourage participants to explore the free online D2L course ahead of time to get the most from this program. The workshop builds on concepts from that course and will include discussion, group activities, and demonstrations covering the following topics:
- Determining your garden goals
- Planning for garden maintenance
- Maintaining records
- Recruiting champions
- Garden pre-planning
- Garden maintenance problem solving

Note: This workshop will be canceled if the event does not meet a minimum of 8 registrants.
