8-Hour ServSafe Manager Training & Certification Exam

MSU Extension offers an 8-hour ServSafe® Manager training course and certification exam. This class is designed for anyone working in the food service industry, including non-profit organizations.

Participants must receive a 70% score on the exam to earn a certificate.

Registration Information

The course is $75 per person. The required textbook, ServSafe® Manager 7th edition book with answer sheet, is sold separately.

Cancellation received on or after May 8, 2024, will incur a $25 cancellation fee.

Textbook Requirement - Must Purchase Separately
After registering for this class you will receive a confirmation message that includes the instructions on how to purchase a ServSafe® 7th edition textbook with an answer sheet. The book needs to be read before attending the class.

Exams
ServSafe® printed exams are available in French Canadian, Chinese, English, Japanese, Korean, and Spanish.

Instructors

Classes are taught by MSU Extension educators, who are certified instructors and exam proctors through the National Restaurant Association.
