All sessions are from 1 - 2:30 p.m. ET

Online via Zoom

The Managed Pollinator Protection Working Group will host the Apiary Inspectors of America to deliver 3 online trainings on tropilaelaps mites. The training sessions will be train-the-trainer style. Working group members will learn how to educate beekeepers and other stakeholders about tropilaelaps mite biology, monitoring, management, and response plans. These trainings are open to apiculture extension educators, state and federal officials, and others who deliver beekeeping education or information in a professional capacity.

The 3 virtual training sessions and the in-person training will complement each other, so participation in all 4 events is highly encouraged when feasible. The training presentations may be recorded and shared. Live participation is highly encouraged to engage in frank discussion and question and answer periods, which will not be recorded

It will include teaching tools, scenarios for implementing tropilaelaps mite response plans, and more!

The 3 virtual training sessions and the in-person training will complement each other, so participation in all 4 events is highly encouraged when feasible.
