Youth explore fields and careers relating to animal science and veterinary medicine, visit MSU farms and facilities, and participate in numerous hands-on learning activities.

Who should attend?

Michigan 4-H Animal and Veterinary Science Camp is for youth who are interested in exploring animal and veterinary science related projects and activities. Participants must be ages 13 to 17 as of January 1 of the current programming year.
Out-of-state youth are welcome to join our waitlist here: https://msu.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_3jTTJUIQwRD27ae

Note: Incomplete and/or unpaid registrations or those who do not meet eligibility requirements (such as age or Michigan residency) will be automatically canceled.

Where is the Camp?

This camp will be held on the campus of Michigan State University in East Lansing.

What's New?
As in 2024, to better meet demands and engage more youth in this experience, this camp has been shortened and will be offered twice as a two-day day camp.
Lodging will be the responsibility of the participant’s family.
Youth can attend either July 7-8 or July 9-10. You will select which session you'd like to attend when you register. Each two-day session has a maximum capacity of 60 youth.

Cost
The 2025 camp fee is $150. This includes meals, transportation, and camp materials.

Cancellations received after May 15, 2024, will not be refunded.

The camp fee does not include lodging. Lodging will be the responsibility of the participant's family. If you'd like to utilize one of our hotel room blocks, information about this will be shared with registrants at a later date.
